Scrap World

Scrap World is a semi - open world quest adventure game. Play as the decendant of Denny; the worlds most renouned crafts-person. Master the craft of the legacy set before you as you complete quests under the supervison of Denny for local residents who need new inventions to get them out of trouble.

As a solo developer on this title, my primary focus was to upskill my practical skills when creating a game from scratch by myself. I designed the core game loop to be very simple. This meant I could design specific skills that I wanted to test myself with through modular components that could be added to expand content upon the core gameloop. This gave me a balance between avoiding common mistakes such as overscope but not compremise on trying to get myself out of my comfort zone.
